Chinese Arts Revival is a non-profit organization dedicated to the revival of traditional Chinese arts and culture.
Chinese scholars and artists are historically known to cultivate their mind and heart during their attempt to understand life’s many mysteries. On this journey they were able to temper the skills of many artistic techniques.
As Chinese culture developed, artistic techniques were gradually mastered, and the pursuit of divine wisdom lived on. China gave birth to numerous inventions and a body of work unequaled in all of history.
Although the campaigns in 1966 during the cultural revolution delivered an unforgettable blow to the traditional Chinese arts and culture, the ancient spirit lives on. The depth of its roots and the breadth of its diversity made it impossible to destroy.
Today some orchestra’s combine traditional Chinese and western instruments, bringing us the power of orchestral accompaniment coupled with the distinct beauty of Chinese melodies. Multi-media is often being used to help to depict ancient fables and mystical beliefs. Annual international competitions for Chinese artists are produced to promote and continue traditional Chinese art. The ancient spirit of traditional Chinese culture continues to live and grow.
Chinese Arts and Cultural Revival is the proud presenter of artistic events that revive and continue the spirit of traditional Chinese arts.
