On Wednesday May 4th, Chinese Arts Revival hosted a celebration of Asian Heritage Month at Radiance Tea House in midtown Manhattan where guests received updates about the return of Shen Yun Performing Arts to Lincoln Center June 23 – 26.

Greeted at the door by lovely hostesses dressed in Qing dynasty fashions, guests were treated to exquisite Chinese teas and hors d’oeuvres. As the guests settled in, Chinese Arts Revival advisory board members spoke briefly about their experiences attending the Lincoln Center debut of Shen Yun Performing Arts in January, 2011 as well as excitement over Shen Yun’s return to Lincoln Center this June.

Shen Yun Performing Arts is the world’s premier classical Chinese dance and music company, dedicated to revitalizing traditional Chinese culture through performing arts. Shen Yun will be returning to Lincoln Center for the 2011 world tour finale for which the company will perform the very best of its vast repertoire of dance and music.

“These upcoming performances at Lincoln Center are going to be truly something special,” said Chinese Arts Revival Managing Director, Ms. Gail Rachlin. “Shen Yun is assembling the very best of their performances from this and past years’ world tours. It will be an amazing event for both those who’ve seen Shen Yun before as well as those who come for the first time.”
